Fast delivery of compressors from stock
Today, there are many manufacturers and suppliers who have delivery problems and extremely long lead times for compressors and finishing equipment. The situation does not appear to improve in the short term. Throughout the entire COVID pandemic, there have been challenges related to deliveries of certain components. Nevertheless, we and our suppliers have been spared the biggest challenge and managed to deliver, with a slightly longer delivery time than normal. At the same time, our suppliers are very flexible and can make quick decisions.

Large machine stock for short response time
Vestec is in the fortunate position that we have many machines in stock both at Klepp Station and in central Germany, says Stian Osmundsen, general manager. With more than 150 machines in stock at any time, for outputs up to 75kW, we are able to deliver faster than most. Larger machines are made to order.
We have a large stock of finishing products. As standard, we stock refrigeration dryers and compressed air filters up to 16 m3/min at Klepp Station. All drainage products are and are in stock with us, says Osmundsen, and it is essential that we can deliver these products in a short time.

Bright prospects and exciting projects
Vestec has stable and solid growth and has had it for a long time. This means that we have great influence with our suppliers and have close cooperation with them.
Our main suppliers are Omega-Air, Almig compressors and SCC Compressors. Together with our suppliers, we have a unique combination of expertise for compressed air and gas applications. We have between 50-60 engineers in the staff, we have a large capacity for more complicated projects.

Green technology
Vestec supplies an increasing amount of oxygen and nitrogen generator systems. These gases are used in many different types of processes and are today more often produced on site rather than using cylinder banks rented from gas suppliers. Local production and reduced transport needs are good for the environment.
New markets such as the treatment of gases such as H2 – hydrogen, CO2 – carbon dioxide, He – helium, and not least natural gas are hugely exciting for us. In these projects there is a lot of new technology and not so many suppliers.
